The U.S. Space Force unveiled their new guardian attire last week to mixed reviews. Chief among the concerns were the ill-fitting pants which appeared baggy and loose fitting. Space Force was open to the criticism and admitted the design was still a prototype with a long way to go.

Clearview AI has earned a mixed reputation for their willingness to be open about their web scraping of photos for facial recognition purposes. Police and government agencies have used the company’s facial software to compare suspect photos to those found on social media. Clearview combined ‘web-crawling’ techniques and machine learning to create a surprisingly effective recognition tool.

FIFA: EA Sports to consider renaming football gaming series as it reviews rights agreement | SkyNews

Electronic Arts, the maker of the popular Soccer video game series FIFA, is reviewing their licensing deal with the actual Fédération Internationale de Football Association. They said in a recently released statement that they may be forced to name the game something different if an agreement could not be reached. They maintained that the likenesses of players, teams, and stadiums would remain as they part of separate agreements.
