The fact that Ukraine is employing face recognition software to track down Russian attackers and identify Ukrainians slain in the current conflict is significant since it is one of the few known applications of AI in the fight. Ukraine’s military ministry started utilizing Clearview AI’s image software on Saturday after Clearview supplied it for free, according to the CEO of the controversial American face recognition startup Clearview AI.
