Robots can now feel, be wounded, and display emotions thanks to recent technological advancements. While robots respect emotional expressiveness, they are also entrusted with recognizing human emotions and communicating signals to users appropriately. OMOY, a newly designed robot, is capable of comprehending the sender’s sentiments and relaying them to the intended receiver. The University of Tsukuba researchers created this portable robot with a moveable weight that is controlled by mechanical components within the body. The robot may portray synthetic emotions by altering its internal weight. The robot was created to act as a translator for text messages, and it may be particularly useful when the language is uninviting or aggravating. So that the receiver of the communication does not get unhappy after receiving the news, OMOY includes a word of encouragement and advice.
