As telework has increased throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the issue of cybersecurity has been on the rise for the Pentagon. IT officials are still concerned with how to establish zero-trust cybersecurity on a global scale for the Defense Department. “There’s not a perfect template necessarily for every situation or every capability,” stated John Sherman, principal deputy chief information officer at the Pentagon. With more remote work taking place, personal networks that are unsecure have been a major concern.
