White House Paves Policy For Nuke-Powered Rockets & Reactors On Moon | Breaking Defense

The White House released the Space Policy Directive-6, titled “National Strategy for Space Nuclear Power and Propulsion,” December 16. The new space policy demonstrates U.S. commitment to using SNPP systems under three principles: safety, security, and sustainability. This also ensures SNPP systems’ use when appropriate, specifically in scientific, exploration, national security, and commercial objectives.
