Study: Majority of patients are receptive to interaction with robots for evaluating symptoms | News-Medical Life Science

Researchers from MIT and Brigham and Women’s Hospital are actively working on robots that can help provide care to maximize the safety of both the patient and the health care workforce in the era of social distancing. Utilizing robots for healthcare takes a large part of the research on new strategies to minimize interactions between potentially sick patients and health care workers especially in the time of COVID 19. In a recent survey conducted by the group, questions have been asked regarding the acceptability of robots in health care.
