Microsoft’s Project Alexandria parses documents using unsupervised learning | Venture Beat

Microsoft began Project Alexandria in 2014, a research project under its Cambridge research group aimed at identifying things — information subjects — and their attributes. The Alexandria team is in charge of discovering subjects and metadata, as well as using artificial intelligence to interpret the content of documents in databases.
