The brain is one of if not the hardest organ to understand. Recently it has been posed that the brain’s learning method can be compared to the optimization processes of AI. A paper by researchers at Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh argued that biological and machine learning are not entirely that different. The human brain is still a more versatile problem solver but the research shows several connections can be made.
