Joe Biden ran on the promise of creating jobs, and he’s doing just that – just not for people. Employers are increasingly turning to robots to undertake activities that humans used to do but can’t or won’t do anymore. Simultaneously, the workforce in the United States has fallen dramatically, leaving approximately 10 million job positions unfilled. President Biden’s actions are worsening both of these problems, with the support and strong pushing of progressives. Employers have been automating for years in the United States and many other nations. That isn’t something new. However, after the COVID-19 epidemic began, this trend has accelerated considerably.
