Artificial intelligence (AI) may be the most detrimental of all the possibly groundbreaking innovations. Nuclear and thermonuclear weapons may be the only similar disruptive technology. Nuclear weapons have sparked a raging debate about their moral and legal repercussions, as well as when and how they should be used, from a counterforce first attack against military objectives to counter value retaliating positions against the population and industrial centers, and “tactically” to restrict upsurge or correct conventional weapons disparities.
