US Army conducts first-of-its-kind exercise for tactical information warfare unit | C4ISRNET

The 915th Cyber Warfare Battalion was created in 2019 and consists of 12 expeditionary cyber and electromagnetic teams that support other units in electronic warfare and other cyber concerns. Expeditionary CEMA Team 1 participated in the recent training that included robotics and a digital cyber realm. They are working to refine their techniques and conquer new problems in the military and defense cyber world.

China Conducts Test Of Massive Suicide Drone Swarm Launched From A Box On A Truck | The Drive

China recently performed a test involving a swarm of loitering munitions, also known as suicide drones. The China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology carried out the test and have been performing swarming drone tests for years. The name of the drones have not been released, and it is unclear if they are currently in use by the military or other organizations.

How augmented reality for military dogs could change how canine battle buddies operate | Army Times

Augmented reality goggle for dogs are now in the first testing phases to be used by military and law enforcement canine handlers. These goggles would allow trainers to work with dogs in augmented reality on scenarios that would be potentially too dangerous to attempt in real life. The AR can also help improve communication between the dog and its handler. “We are still in the beginning research stages of applying this technology to dogs, but the results from our initial research are extremely promising,” states Dr. A.J. Peper.
