Military leaders saw pandemic as unique opportunity to test propaganda techniques on Canadians, Forces report says | Ottawa Citizen

According to a newly disclosed Canadian Forces assessment, Canadian military authorities saw the outbreak as a unique opportunity to test out propaganda techniques on an unwary populace. The federal government never requested or authorized the so-called information operations campaign, which was devised by the Canadian Joint Operations Command, then directed by Lt.-Gen. Mike Rouleau, during the COVID-19 epidemic. According to retired Maj.-Gen. Daniel Gosselin, who was brought in to investigate the scheme, military officers believed they didn’t require consent from higher authorities to create and carry out their plan.

Otterbox Mobile Gaming Clip Review | IGN

Over the last year, we’ve seen a wave of new mobile gaming accessories and phone controllers thanks to Microsoft’s “Designed for Xbox” effort. The Razer Kishi, the PowerA XP5-X Plus controller and phone clip, the 8BitDo controller and phone clip… and now, the OtterBox Mobile Gaming Clip. This game clip connects to Xbox One and Series controllers and comes with the same dual-axis customizable placement as the 8BitDo and PowerA models. It is, however, twice the price of its rivals at $30. It also accomplishes a few additional tasks. The OtterBox clip may be detached from your controller completely and used as a phone stand.

Denver airplane pilot is one step closer from making his drone dodging invention a reality | ABC Denver

When it comes to airspace, both hobbyist and commercial drone operations are becoming increasingly complicated. As a result, airline pilots are becoming increasingly risky, particularly near large airports. Rick Zelenka, a private pilot, has spent several years improving his drone radar technology in order to address this issue. Zelenka was awarded a NASA contract to build a lightweight radar system that can be placed in planes. The prototype was recently put to the test at Hudson, Colorado’s Platte Valley Airport. Randy Settergren, a seasoned pilot, was in command.

Our minds instinctively conjure up pictures of robots when we hear the term Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI does not only take the shape of robots; it can also take the form of speech sensors, visual analyzers, intelligent assistants, and other similar devices. Even though we pretend to understand what artificial intelligence is, we don’t really comprehend how our lives are increasingly becoming reliant on it. Artificial Intelligence has evolved into a means of reducing time and resource use. AI continues to do mind-blowing achievements that are even greater than the humans who create them, raising the intriguing question of when humans will cease to be the most intelligent species on the planet.
