The Space Force Has its First Marines — and Soldiers and Sailors | Military.com

The United States Space Force unveiled that it has chosen the first-ever small group of soldiers, sailors, and Marines to move permanently to the sixth military branch as part of a bigger attempt to concentrate space operations and related activities under the new branch. The Space Force will add 50 active-duty volunteers to its ranks this month, according to a press release from the military. According to the statement, more than 3,700 officers and enlisted members from those services filed for the position of guardian earlier this year. The initial 50 members will be used as a test group for transferring members from other services to the Space Force.

Alexandria technology is used to run Microsoft Viva Topics, which integrates vast quantities of knowledge and expertise in an organization automatically. The Alexandria team is in charge of discovering subjects and metadata, as well as using artificial intelligence to interpret the content of documents in databases.

Intel agencies, armed services push for more data and capability sharing to win future fights | C4ISRNET

Senior military experts expect that the United States will face capable competitors in the developing information realm and future operating environment and that quick incorporation, as well as data and capabilities sharing, will be critical. With this, the military and intelligence services are cooperating more tightly to exchange information and resources to keep ahead of potential attacks, but there is still work to be done. The collaboration comes as the Pentagon develops a new unified model for warfighting called Joint All Domain Command and Control, which aims to more seamlessly connect sensor data to shooters for speedier decision-making.
